Location:
We are looking for a Production & Raw Material Planner to join our cosmetics manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that raw materials are available, production runs smoothly and new products move efficiently from development to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and forecast raw material requirements based on production requirements and stock levels.
Purchase raw materials and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor raw material availability and identify potential shortages before they impact production.
Plan manufacturing schedules for compounders.
Prepare and issue Batch Manufacturing Records for production.
Type and maintain product formulas and manufacturing documentation accurately.
Assist with costings for new product development.
Work closely with Production, Procurement, Quality and Product Development teams.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all planning and production documentation is up to date.
Assist with coordinating new product development from formulation through to production.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience in production planning, raw material planning, procurement or manufacturing, preferably within cosmetics, personal care, FMCG or a similar environment.
Computer literate and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with formulations, quantities and production documentation.
Confident working with planning processes and spreadsheets.

Can work under pressure and manage changing production priorities.
Has a practical, hands-on approach and enjoys being involved in the full manufacturing process.
Is organised, analytical and proactive, and enjoys coordinating the moving parts of a manufacturing environment.
